D
At first it was your kimono- beautiful piece
It grabbed my attention- slowly with ease
As I approached, I noticed hanging swords
Left earring and necklace, no more words.
And then…you smiled
And looked me in the eye
I said my name, I asked for yours
Surely to forget what I was there for.
It was no coincidence when I saw you again
Try’na sneak in to the conference-no shame
We walked, we talked, we lost track of time
All that inspired me to make this little rhyme.
Our little adventure was about to end
But then we joined the last dance instead.
You were free, flowing, dancing, shining
Suddenly it hit me. Graciously reminding.
The beauty of the feminine
Radiating from within you
It is stored in my memories
So nourishing, so pure.
